Couple of years ago only few people new words like cosmetic surgery
and plastic surgery. Hollywood and western civilization popularized
these terms around the world. We all watch American movies and TV
shows, and we like what we see. Good looking and charming actors and
actresses with cute faces, big and firm breasts, fit stomachs, hips and
thighs. While some of them achieve such results due to constant weight
loss diet programs and exercises, most of them undergo cosmetic surgery.
While some individuals desire to change their looks at any cost, others
take their time and consider all consequences. Yes, for the most part,
cosmetic or plastic surgery is safe and it will make you look a lot
better, but you have to be aware of plastic surgery safety issues,
because it is a SURGERY and as with any surgical procedure something
might go wrong.
Before the cosmetic surgery procedure it is advisable to get
consultations from several specialists if you are extremely overweight,
have lung, heart or nervous disorders, take oral birth control pills,
have history of cancer or low blood clotting. If you have any of these
you should talk to your doctor about cosmetic surgery risks.
There are certain risks with certain procedures, starting with headache
and rash from Botox, changes in sensation and development of cancer
from breast augmentation and ending up with thromboembolism, necrosis
or even death from liposuction.
It is possible to avoid most of these risks by choosing an experienced
surgeon and a clinic with good reputation, and keeping in mind your
doctors advice and surgery aftercare tips.
